This week in South Africa, Citroen launched the C4 Cactus: the most exciting and most innovative car ever built by French car manufacturer. This car has been called the game changer by many as it has changed the expectations of motoring world to a great extent. Unlike the conventional C-segment hatchback, this new exciting car offers a versatile, trend-setting and astute alternative.
The first look at the new Citroen C4 Cactus is more than enough to tell you that innovation is at its best, like the design is striking and describes the purpose with its powerful graphic lines and smooth elements that cheat the wind real good.
The front looks bold with its daytime running LED light strips mounted high to make a good impression with the deep-set main light clusters. Airbump® is the key innovation of Cactus which protects well while having compelling visuals.
The cabin is very spacious and has a fully digital interface with a large seven inch full-colour touchscreen. Even the seating has been proportioned generously, allowing adjustment for individual seats. The interior is well air-conditioned, audio streaming is superb with four speakers, Bluetooth connectivity for hands-free telephone. The cruise control, electrically operated exterior mirrors and front windows and multifunction steering wheel are other delightful features.
This all-new Citroen C4 Cactus has won numerous awards for innovation, versatility and efficiency, these awards include Car of the Year awards from Croatia, Finland and Denmark. Car of the Year and MPV of the Year awards have been won in Spain. From UK, it has won Small Hatchback of the Year while Golden Steering Wheel awards from Bulgaria and Slovkia. The 2014 Hatchback of the year accolade has been presented to C4 Cactus from Top Gear Magazine UK.
The list doesn’t end here just yet, in New York International Motor Show this year, the winner of 2015 World Car Design of the Year Award was the Citroen C4 Cactus.
