Nissan has released an optional Midnight styling pack for the Juke ST or ST-S which consists of extra equipment and styling tweaks. It offers 17 inch alloy wheels and spoilers for roof styling. It has new headlight finishers and mirror caps, premium paint and floor mats. They are included in extra cost of the Midnight pack which is £2050.
It is planned that Nissan will first introduce the Midnight models in Australian markets and they are producing only 200 units, priced from around £16,000 and the ST Midnight manual will be around £18,000. However, the automatic transmission or CVT option will be available for an extra £2500.
Nissan Juke ST will produce 113 horsepower and 116 Lb-Ft of torque from its naturally aspirated 1.6 Litre four cylinder Nissan engine. It has an average fuel economy of 47 miles per gallon which is very good for a car like the Juke.
The ST-S trim is powered by a turbocharged 1.6 litre engine and it is capable of generating 187 horsepower while torque is rated at 177 Lb-Ft. It gulps more fuel and returns only 40 mpg on an average cycle.
The equipment pack for the ST includes, fog lights, cruise control system, climate control, wrapped steering wheel and Bluetooth connectivity. On the other hand, ST-S package includes auto headlights, automatic wipers, autonomous folding side mirrors, keyless entry and push to start button. It also offers upgraded infotainment system with 5.0-inch colour display to enjoy music and a satellite navigation to keep you on the right track. Rear view camera and steering mounted audio controls are also offered on ST-S.
To some people Juke is not more than a Joke, but with this new performance pack Nissan hopes they are the ones laughing.
