The new and stylish Alfa Romeo Giulia Saloon has revealed its appearance in Geneva Motor Show and fully showed that it is one of the most demanding Candidate in the renowned saloon sector. The stylish looks and dashing body cuts increase the beauty and its demand as compared to its other competitors.
Let’s have a look on the Alfa Romeo engines power and gearbox specs. The engine line-up is still not confirmed for UK. The rest includes a 2.2-litre diesel engine with 148bhp or 178bhp. The unit also has a petrol engine with a power of 2.0-litre producing 197bhp and a twin-turbo 2.9 V6 engine which we already seen in the Quadrifoglio which produces 503bhp.
The Giulia is available in rear-wheel drive or all-wheel drive having auto or manual gearbox options. Now for Alfa Romeo diesel engine, it has the power of 2.2-litre JTDM-2 diesel with the output of 180bhp as well as it is available in an ECO specification which enables it to cut emissions to less than 100g/km having 450 Nm of torque.
Both Alfa Romeo and Diesel engines are available with 8-speed automatic gearbox or a 6-speed manual gearbox. The turbocharged system is available in the automatic transmission which offers 330Nm of torque which produces 197bhp output.
The Giulia has an 8.8-inch wide multifunctional display screen inside with touch panel controlled via dial, and has the option to connect with iOS and Android mobile devices for phone calls and media streaming options. The dash of the Giulia includes the exclusive feature of Alfa’s DNA driving mode switch with TomTom sat-nav system.
