Bugatti is gearing up for next hyper cars after the Veyron and it has been named as Chiron, pronounced as Shir-on. It will be offered as a full detailed concept sometime in 2016. All new hyper car will be lighter and swifter than the Veyron. According to the initial details, the Chiron is nimble and powerful Sportscar.
The Veyron was introduced in 2005 and had an impressive run throughout its life. It was offered in several variations and 30 different special editions. But the Veyron has earned some negative points because of its weight and offset driving position.
All new Chiron will offer the remedy to the problems and issues faced by Veyron. Reports show that the new supercar will be built from the existing carbon-fibre platform, but it will carry over just some components of its predecessor.
The major carry over component is W16 quad-turbocharged engine but with heavy updates. It will be offered with direct injection fuel delivery and two turbochargers will be electronically driven to eliminate the lag. It is expected that the new modified engine will generate 1500 horsepower and a mountain of torque of 1100 foot pound.
This power is expected to clock the 62 mph on the speedometer just under 2.5 seconds and the top speed of 288 miles per hour. Volkswagen has not revealed any information about the debut of Chiron in 2016.
